Welcome to the PDTN website.


This site intends to provide Police Diversity trainers and other trainers with an information service and a place to come and discuss diversity (and other) related issues.

As our name suggests we aim to provide practitioners with a network and support facility.

The PDTN aim to;

• Offer guidance and support to Trainers Practitioners and Managers working in the field of diversity and facilitate the exchange of information, good practice and topical updates in order to develop and enhance their skills.

• Offer the opportunity to meet, network and establish working partnerships between practitioners within the police family and the communities they serve without prejudice and exception.

•  Maintain and further develop established links with the Police staff associations, the Home Office, APA, HMIC, other strategic groups and the NPIA through consultation and engagement.
